This place has the best tacos I have eaten in the Metairie area. Joseph, the cashier, was very kind and detailed about the menu. He gave me great customer service and did I mention the food and drinks were delicious 😋. Thank you, Joseph and staff, for your southern hospitality. I'm a traveler from Houston and did I mention the Tacos were good...😂

My husband and I stopped here for the first time today after being recommended by a friend. The service was great, the guy who greeted us and took our order was really nice and also checked on us while we were eating. The rock tacos (birria) were chefs kiss! They were really good and the Dog House Burrito was okay, it just was missing more flavor. We went around 2:00pm and it was quiet. There was a few people coming in and ordering and sitting down, the music was good and wasn’t too loud. We’d definitely be going back.

Good and affordable tacos. Rock tacos (3 per order) are probably what they're known for. Birria tacos with melted cheese inside of a hard taco and a side of the beef broth to dip into. Honestly, they're good but not overly exciting, so I'm not sure what the hype is about. Shrimp tacos with guacamole are good too. There's a self served, unlimited sauce bar next to the counter as well. The dining tables are always dirty here. Every visit, never fails. They don't wipe down the tables right after the customer leaves. It's discouraging. Cashiers are usually nice though, so you'll just have to ask them to wipe it down unless you don't care.

Good food and polite staff. Order at register and listen for your name when called. Little porch for watching traffic on Vets. Make sure you get you condiments and utensils to the left of order counter. Green sauce is super yummy.

Delicious, authentic tacos! I had the Paco Tacos which come 2 per order. They were served piled high with grilled steak chopped onion, guacamole and grilled onions on the side. I added Pico de Gallo, lime, and some red salsa from the fresh salsa bar. Delicious!!

You can always tell when a Mexican restaurant or taco place is going to be good by the salsas. Their salsas are delicious, full of flavor and spicy. Best Mexican food/Tacos I've had in Louisiana since moving from California. The Birria tacos with melted cheese are amazing! Their horchata is also amazing!

Didn't write a review the first time we came here but the owner dealt with a really tough customer situation beautifully. He really reinforced how much his customers mean to him and his business. Of course, our food was delicious and we wanted to support this business again, so we returned & will continue to. Delicious food, awesome salsa bar, nice drink selection, and great staff! Pictured: 5 traditional tacos for $10, quesadilla, and tostada. Update 2022: still delicious! Sometimes you need to park in the lot next door.

Wow, what a super awesome surprise! Went here today with the family and enjoyed some fabulous and delicious tacos. The standard Taco plate has five small tacos, and I love that you can choose flour or corn tortilla. The Paco Taco is some awesome deep-fried beef flavor. Good amount of spice on everything, and the serving size was really good. Bonus: they offer military discount and a referral on the orange drink.
